Registration is required to start a new list, or to contribute a list item, or vote on an existing list. It is also required when you wish to add comments or share lists with friends.

Using "Connect with Facebook" gives you access to additional features—seeing lists your "Friends" have created and seeing your "Friends" opinions on a given list topic. It also gives you the opportunity to post your lists into your Facebook newsfeed.
